The
second half of Day 3 found us crossing glacier canyons and
descending down into the Karango Valley. A frigid night followed.
A night that found me extremely ill. My own demise was desired most
by me this night; curled in the fetal position in my sleeping bag,
freezing,
horribly ill and uncomfortable; a wonder it was why I made such an
effort to come to 13,000' to die.
She
tantalizes us again with her
enormity and beauty.
