Nairobi, Kenya
Instead of flying Air Tanzania from Arusha back to Dar Es Salaam, I opted for the
6 hour
bus shuttle from Arusha to Nairobi. I roamed the streets of Nairobi for a day and a half
before catching my flight back to London. A few pictures were all I took, and with my
point and click camera, as I was followed around at most times by hordes of people
very likely to mug me if I showed off anything of real value, or if I stayed out after dark.
No offense to any Kenyans, but Nairobi is a city to do two things in: catch a plane and eat
at the Carnivore Restaurant (unless you are a vegetarian).

Nothing atypical about
Nairobi, it is a real
first rate city in many
ways, during the day

The shuttle dropped me off
at the New Stanley. I did
not know where else to
go and it was getting
dark, so they charge me
the larceny rate of $195! I
stole a towel though :)
