Moín, Costa Rica

This small town served for no other purpose than for a night's sleep.
However, it was a lovely little spot right on the Caribbean coast line.
In 1989, an earthquake exposed much of the coral reef located right at
the base of the hotel dining area, and you can see the waves crashing
into that reef below...

Rather large waves slammed
themselves into the reef
and shore here.

A good view of the coral
reef, exposed and dead,
to both the air and the waves.
