Birds of Wilson Botanical Gardens

Early in the morning, as the sun began to peek over the
mountains, I setup my camera and tripod with the goal of
capturing on film some of the many birds at this place. I got
more than birds, as some very typical pests kept scaring them off!

A green honeycreeper
sticks his head
out for quick peek.

A silver-throated tanager
is here
eating a rotting
batch of hanging
bananas, left out for just
this purpose. People
like me love this
bird feeder.

Our green honeycreeper
almost looks like a
fake cuckoo bird here.

Of course, you cannot set
out bird food without
attracting other creatures of the
land. He is holding a piece of
banana here, just after he scared
all of the birds away.

is not going to be any left!

off the bunch that is
nearly as large as he is!
