One
of so many bridges
across the Seine.

As
above, this walking
bridge is a lovely contemp-
orary construction, which
does not leave a lot of space
for boats to traverse
underneath it. |

The
Museé D'Orsay

Another
age old building
along the Seine. Despite
some misgivings by many
that this French city was
taken by the Nazi's in WWI,

Poor
Egypt, so raped of
its columns. See how
similar this obelisk is
to those in the Hippodrome
of Istanbul, as well as in
the piazzas of Rome,
such as Piazza
de Spagna
and Piazza
Navonna, Piazza
Popolo as well as, of
course, atop Bernini's
elephant in Piazza
della
Minerva! |

On
the front of the building,
it says:
"Ce Monument A Ete

In front of the building above,
we have a statue of a female
goddess sits side saddle,
or is jumping off of her
mighty steed. This is just
another example of all the
statues and carvings that
are ever present through
out the streets of Paris.
