Hans and Antao
At one point, my two best friends out here in California.
Hans abandoned the world without a trace (bastard, call me!!) and Antao recently moved
back to Portugal permanently :(

Hans: Now here's a character. Hans is (was) a cool guy. He moved out to California to work at
Sense8 from South Carolina (where he was getting his Masters Degree in ancient history).
He is (was) a true historian at heart, and knows (knew) more about the Greeks, Romans, and even the
Nordic world than anyone I know. I hate the fact that he knows (knew) more about the Norse
culture than I do (did), and I have been taking great strides to learn all I can about that
fascinating cultural history. Hans came to Sense8 and became one of the big programmers,
and a few months ago moved from California to Montreal to be a big programmer at Sofimage.
I miss Hans from my life out here, since he and I often went partying in San Francisco, hiking
in Marin, had barbeques every Sunday and often watched Braveheart really loud on my
stereo system. I refer to him in the past tense since he disappeared back to the east coast
one day, and to his friends out here he chose to become "of the past tense (unfortunately)"

Antao: It was late 1996 and Antao was invited to work at Sense8 for an internship. He
came and is such a rockin' thinker and smart guy, that Sense8 offfered him full time
employment and sponsored his H1 Visa. Antao and I also hit it off well, and decided to get
a house together. We landed that great 3 bedroom / 2 bath house in the woods in Mill
Valley, just 1½ miles from work, and 6 miles north of the Golden Gate. After that year
of living together, Antao flew back to Lisbon, Portugal, to get married to Rita. He brought
Rita back, and she made him move out. They got their own little apartment together in
San Rafael as Antao worked at Sense8. Rita is wonderful, smart and caring, but she did
steal away the best housemate I ever had, so I like to beat her up about that when I can :)
Antao left Sense8 a while back to go work at Paraform Inc., in Silicon Valley. He is now
helping Paraform by coding new mathematical algorithms for the real time 'stiching' of
3D polygonal meshes and NURBS conversion. He now lives back home in Lisbon, Portugal.

Antao is also an avid BMX rider, a stuntman extraordinaire!
