HorseBack Riding
In May 2000, I went with the Bay Area Outdoor Club to the Mar Vista Horse
Stables about 10 minutes south of the San Francisco city limits in Daly City. We
had a two hour horse back ride through the foggy cliff trails, and down onto the beach
of the Pacific Ocean.		      
           
   
Open to the public, anyone can
swing by and mount a horse.

between each other to show no outward
sign of enthusiasm

We mounted up and began. Lori (the only name
from the group I remember) was more photogenic
than any of the others, and she wanted
copies too.

Holding the camera still to photographing on a horse
is a much more dificult prospect than one would
think. Maybe on a cantering Icelandic horse...

Such erosion abounds, I assume the water pipe on the
right was originall flush with the hill side.

The fog begins to lift...

Luckily, no lepers with weapons bent on
vengeance came out of the fog this day.

Finally the beach. The fog never cleared, but
we did get a chance to canter our horses on the
sand.
