This
is perhaps my favorite
picture from the entire
house blessing, with
oil being poured from
the little metal cup, into
the wooden spoon,
and onto the fire below.
The priest watches and
sings beyond ...

Kushal's parents take a
moment for me to get
a good photograph. This
is their new home, after all.

The
fire raged for hours,
and the smoke inside, at
times, became almost
unbearable.

next part of the blessing
included two people grasping
this plate, with a candle
burning on it. They would

Toshal
and Jamie do as well,
in respect for her parents

respect, and took part in
this blessing ritual.

Here,
we have the sister of
one of Kushal's childhood
friends. She is Parsi,
and
she is very attractive. I had
a small crush on her 3 years
ago, and today as well. :)
If you know much about the
Parsi, you know I have
little chance...

Even
as some people
begin to leave,
the blessing continues.
Kushal's father here,
basks in the fact that
so much of the family
is here together.
