Ranganatha Swamy Temple, located in
Srirangapatna, 15 km from
Mysore.
Constructed
by a Ganga Chieftan Tirumalarayna in
894, it was later expanded
and includes enormous
blocks of granite.

Sultan's Gumbaz
This
tomb and mosque was
built by Tip Sultan as a tribute
to his illustrious father, Hyder
Ali (1722-1784), after his
death. It is at the eastern
extreme of Srirangapatna.
