Kamakura
Kamakura was once the seat of a feudal government set up in 1192 as
the first of its kind in Japan. Flanked by wooded mountains on 3 sides
and Sagami Bay on the south, the city has many renowned temples
and shrines, as well as the 13.35 metre tall bronze Amita Buddha.
