" The Zeniarai Benten or "money washing" shrine. Minamoto Yoritomo
dreamed on "Mi-no-hi" or on snake day according to the Japanese
Zodiac. In that dream, he was informed as follows: 'If you draw water at
the spring in Zeniarai Benten and hold a service for deities, the world
will prosper peacefully. So that it is the said Minamoto Yoritomo
soon defied here by the divine message. "

The entrance from the road
to the shrine is clean
through the rock face.

I am always on the look out

Near the Zeniarai Benten, and
just out of sight where no one
could see, was this statue of a
small dragon. Since I was out
of view, I had the sudden
feeling that I could be grabbed
and taken by the deities and
no one would have seen.
