The bus arrives along
the narrow road,
under the blossoming
cherry trees.

father, Toshi-san,
is in kimono and
preparing ...

All the Americans
arrive, and go off
to get ready for
wearing their
kimonos.

But first, as anyone
who has worn a kimono
knows, it's best to go
to the bathroom before
you being dressing in
your kimono.

Now I being to walk
the wedding grounds.
The property of this
restaurant a la
retreat was totally
beautiful and relaxing.

There were many
water wheels like this
one, as a small stream
ran directly through
the entire property.

The thatch and earth
like roof added
authenticity to the
surroundings; even if
the electric street
wires did not.

Obviously no city
gas pipes running
up here, many large
tanks of propane stood
ready to the task.

over the stream many
times indeed.

I then walked up the
road a bit, and saw
some differing hues of
green amongst the
many types of trees
up here in the
mountains. We were
a good hour outside
of Tokyo by train.

along the road. Large
construction equip-
ment reworks the
land behind, but
misses the shrine.

Coming back to the
restaurant, they have
many dishes to clean
from yesterdays'
fun and excitement.
