| On December 22,
I left San Francisco at 3:30 am, drove to northern Oregon
in an attempt to: 1) reconnoitre Oregon and the northern interior of California and 2) See, and hopefully, get very close to, Mt. St. Helens in Washington State Well, due to the extreme weather, I was forced to turn back (an ice storm closed most roads, accidents were abound, my 4x4 was even tough with the going). I hope to hike this volcano to the top one day soon. |
