Troy
(Troya in Turkish)
Perhaps the most well known city of the ancient world, Troy was
the location featured in Homer's epic tale, the Iliad (written ~ 700BC).
After Helen was kidnapped by the Trojans, the Greeks came seeking
justice....Troy is perhaps the worst preserved of all the major
ancient sites we saw, and because of its historical and literary
importance; the most powerful and exciting.
