We
spent one night here in Igirdir, in the pansione of somewhat
famed "Choo Choo Cherry." Choo Choo was a most interesting
individual (formerly part of the entourage of Andy
Warhol),
and was so kind as to invite us to his private roof deck
where we enjoyed a chilly night in his most unique company.
Before
we got to Igirdir,
we drove a long way. Our
faithfull little Fiat here
got covered in black tar,
which the Turks just
dump out in hot liquid form
onto the dirt mountain
roads ...
