Visible here beyond the
Column of Constantine
in the Hippodrome,
the mosque is visible
throughout the Golden
Horn.

20,000 shimmering blue
Iznik tiles along with
260 stained-glass
windows adorn the inside.

The minarets are really
so much taller than higest
dome that is hard to
photograph it all without
having serious white
space.

Between two minarets you
can see bird netting in
an apparent attempt to
minimize local pigeons
from soiling this wonder.
