Two Places We Stayed In Istanbul

Soguk Cesme street just behind
Hagia Sophia made a delightful
location to base ourselves for
5 nights while visiting Istanbul.

After finding the street, we
checked in at the office shown

Our hotel is very impressive
looking. More like a converted
mansion, there are 3 rooms per
floor, each with their own
bathroom and are completely
nicer than any HoJo
I have stayed at in my time.

The pretentiously adorned front
hallway has chandoleirs, mirrors
and more, providing a feeling
of grandeur and elegance.

The rooms were quite simple,
and very nice.

The back patio of this hotel was
a very comfortable place to be.

When we came to Turkey, we
spent 1 night in Istanbul before
traveling to the coastal city
of Bodrum. It was 2 weeks before
we returned to Istanbul.
Here is the Artemis hotel, our
lodging for our 1st night.
