Fethiye and Kayaköy

Fethiye, or ancient Telmessos, is situated on the slopes of Mendos
Mountain. Established on top of ancient Telmessos (the son of Apollo),
this town is rich in history, with dealings with Persian Kings, Alexander
the Great, the Ptolemy's, Romans and Byzantium.

Kayaköy (ancient Karmylassos), has remain deserted since 1925, when the
Greeks living here immigrated back to Greece as a result of a population
exchange with Turkey. Once a relatively large town, it is in bad condition.
