Spending one night in Fethiye, it was a warm and
pleasant place to be. Temperatures rarely go beneath
16 C (60.8 F), it is a wondeful town to visit (or perhaps more).
Fethiye was rebuilt after it was destroyed by an earthquake in 1957.

The modern town
sprawls around the
shores of Fethiye Gulf.

Mer Pension.
We stayed our first night
off the boat here. The
Turkish "pensionar" are low
priced, decent service,
typically family run
motels throughout the
country. Mer was not the
cheapest, about $28 USD
per night, AC included.
