possibly 2,000 years old
or more, and there was no
protection around it. With so
many sites of historical value,
it is no wonder that the
government must limit
the amount of funds each
gets, and here this mosaic
still retains much colour
and brilliance.

a thin metal mesh fence,
and driving within was likely
now allowed, nor necessary.
